Product transfers are an excellent way for landlords to switch to a new deal without a full remortgage. Whilst some specialist lenders offer them for standard buy-to-let properties, options for HMOs and MUFBs up until now have been limited.

Who’s eligible?

If your client’s fixed-rate mortgage ends within the next 90 days, they will be eligible to start the process of a product transfer.

We know landlords with more complex portfolios need refinancing options that work for them. That’s why our product transfers cover HMOs and MUFBs as well as standard properties.

Applying for a product transfer

Our product transfers are only available via intermediaries, which feature competitive rates alongside a variable fee structure, with borrowing up to £1.5M at 75% LTV.

We use automatic valuations, wherever possible, which cover both standard properties as well as Small HMO’s if the valuation on file is less 3yrs old. For large HMOs and all MUFBs, a standard valuation is required.

Our product transfers have zero legal fees, a £99 application fee and the procuration fees are 0.35%.

If your client has an existing case with us that was submitted by a different broker, with their permission the case can be transferred over to you.

Simple and quick application

Applying for a product transfer through our broker portal is simple. Search your completed cases and if a fixed rate is ending within 90 days, it will automatically be marked as eligible.

All you need to do then is review the applicants’ information, select a new product, and answer a few questions about any changes to the property or the applicants’ circumstances.

For more information, we’ve prepared a short video to walk you through the process.

A seamless switch for your clients

With many fixed rates ending in the next 12 months, we’re here to make product transfers simple and seamless, no matter how big or complex your client’s portfolio is.
