Eight years ago, we launched Landbay because we thought buy-to-let lending could be so much better.
Though we were small back then, we always had big ambitions. We knew we could provide a far better service for both brokers and borrowers. And we knew that, while this will always be a people business, better tech would make a big difference.
It’s been an incredible journey. We’ve had highs, like winning BTL lender of the year four years in a row and being named one of the UK’s Best Places to Work. And we’ve made our fair share of mistakes too, though I believe each has made us a little bigger, better and stronger.
Through it all, our ambition hasn’t changed one bit. We still know that, with an outstanding team and great technology, we can make buy-to-let better.
Today marks the next stage in our journey. I am delighted to reveal our new brand and launch our new broker portal.
Reimagining our brand is something we’ve been working on for a few years now. We’ve spent a lot of time thinking about what is important to us and what we believe is important to our partners. We’ve thought about the standards we want to set and what it really means to work for, and with, Landbay. And we’ve looked at every interaction with our customers and asked whether it’s consistent with that ambition. I am sure you won’t just see a difference. You’ll feel one too.
Our new portal has been built for brokers, with brokers. Over the last 18 months, we’ve worked with a group of brokers to design something that is intuitive and saves them time. The feedback we’ve received has been phenomenal and I’m confident all our intermediary partners are going to see a big improvement.
That leaves me with just one thing left to say: Thank you. Thank you to all the Landbay team who have worked so hard to get us where we are today. And thank you also to all of our partners – without you, we would never have got this far.
